Hi friends! If you don’t already have plans to workout tonight, lace up your sneakers, call up your fitness BFF and join us in sweating for a cause, specifically the One Love Foundation, honoring Yeardley Love.
Founded in 2010 to honor the memory of Yeardley Love, the One Love Foundation works with young people across the nation to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and activates communities to change the statistics around relationship violence. Alarmingly, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will experience relationship violence in their lifetime, and until Yeardley Love’s tragic passing, relationship violence was an issue that was commonly swept under the rug. In creating One Love, it is Yeardley’s mother, Sharon Love’s, mission to do for relationship violence what MADD did for drunk driving – stigmatize the behavior and get bystanders to take away the keys.
