We don’t know about you, but we’re ready to fall for Fall! ‘Tis the season of PSLs, football tailgates, pumpkin beers and, of course, that ever-tempting bowl of Halloween candy at work. Luckily despite the temperature falling (sorry, couldn’t help it), there’s still plenty of opportunities around town to sweat!

Join our local November Project chapter for five Fridays this month to crush some hills! Meet at Druid Hill for #BaltiTour’s first October Friday.
Friday, October 2: Janet Jackson Happy Ride with Michelle at REV
Join Michelle for an ESCAPADE to celebrate the release of Janet Jackson’s new album “Unbreakable.” This 45-minute tribute ride begins at 6PM and is “All for You!”
Saturday, October 3: Plie for Pink!
Join Merritt Athletic Club and Soul Body Barre for a special barre class benefiting the American Cancer Society to fight breast cancer! Ann Marie Barbour, one of the founders of Soul Body, will lead a sneak peak at the newest SB Body Barre choreo at the Canton Merritt Club at 9AM. Cost of class is $15, with all proceeds benefiting the fight against breast cancer.
Sunday, October 4: Barrevolution Class with Athleta Towson
Last week we met the owner of Barrevolution, Lara Custer, and we cannot wait to check out her new studio in Timonium! Check out her approach to barre this Sunday at 10:30AM at the Athleta in Towson, shop and enjoy light refreshments from Push to Start, a health and nutrition company.
Friday, October 9: October Birthday Ride with Jami at REV
Help celebrate all the Libras & Scorpios out there with a birthday ride led by our very own October baby and badass mixmaster, Jami! Round up your friends for a birthday sweat (class begins at 6PM) and a complimentary cool-down beverage, then see where the night takes you!
Saturday, October 11: Lole Women Yoga Meet Up at VITA
Join VITA at 8:30AM for a relaxing Saturday morning yoga class with Melody Clark from Lynne Bricks, then enjoy a lite breakfast and 15% off all Lole merchandise
Monday, October 12 – Sunday, October 18: Baltimore Team One Love Week
We are very much looking forward to honoring Yeardley Love, a local Baltimore friend and athlete, and advocating to end relationship violence by supporting the One Love Foundation in their week-long series of events, Team One Love Week in Baltimore, leading up to the Baltimore Running Festival, for which One Love is a sponsored cause. In addition to screening the organization’s education film, Escalation, in-store shopping events and a happy hour at Bond Street Social, there are several fitness fundraisers going on the evening of Tuesday, Oct 13, including 7PM REVBlast with Esther at REV, 7PM Yoga with Jessie Benson at Under Armour, barre. and more!
On Sunday, October 18th fellow lacrosse player and yogi Megan Cook will lead a donation-based class at Charm City Yoga Fells Point from 1:30-3PM with 100% of the proceeds going towards the foundation. This vinyasa style class will focus on heartopeners, as we expand our heart space to honor all the L O V E we have in our lives.
Saturday, October 11: Pop Physique Barre & Brunch at Waterfront Kitchen
Join Pop Physique as they “pop-up” at Waterfront Kitchen for a morning barre class on the water, beginning at 11AM. Attendees will receive an hour long barre class followed by a boxed brunch to take home or eat along the water with new friends. The cost for the event is $30 and includes the class and meal.
Saturday, October 17: Baltimore Running Festival
The big event! Whether you’re running the 5k, team relay, 1/2 marathon, or full marathon we hope you run with a full heart & have an amazing race day! Can’t wait to see all your race pics!
Sunday, October 18: Barre, Juice, Shop & Sweat for a Great Cause at Athleta Annapolis
Join our fellow Gundalow Juice Ambassador Candice Rush at Athleta in Annapolis for a complimentary Barre class followed by juices from Gundalow Juice and shopping. She will be taking donations for the Tyanna Foundation in support of Breast Cancer. Come Sweat for a Great Cause!
Tuesday, October 20: BMOREtoned MEETUP – Barre with Annie at VITA
Save the date to check out Charm City Run’s newest store, VITA, in Belvedere Square to enjoy a free barre class with our own Annie at 6:30PM, followed by shopping & a healthy happy hour!
Friday, October 23: Bikes, Barre & Bubbles with Candice & Janet at REV
Janet and Candice are gearing up to rock your Friday night with a few of their favorite things – bikes, barre and bubbles! This event combines the best of both worlds with 30 minutes of work on the bike & 30 minutes of tucking, squeezing and pulsing at the barre for the ultimate combination of cardio and toning… and yes, there will be sparkling beverage post sweat! Dress code for the night is biker barre chic.
Sunday, October 25th: Empower a Cure at lululemon (Towson, Mall in Columbia & Harbor East)
Join some of our absolute favorite yoga instructors for a yoga event celebrating life, meaningful connections, and inspiration in support of The Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy. This heart-filled event includes an all-levels yoga flow, shopping for a cause, libations, scrumptious eats, and breast cancer risk assessment. Last year, Kate hosted this event at one location and raised an incredible $3,600 – with these talents combined, and lululemon generously donating 40% of all purchases made, the goal this year is $10k! Doors open at 8:45am, class begins at 9:00am and you can shop from until 11:00am. You can participate at one of three lululemon athletic locations:

Friday, October 30: Halloween Ride at REV
With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, you’ll want to put the work in on All Hallow’ Eve, knowing you’ve earned your tricks & treats! Costumes encouraged, but not required to ride and no worries if ghosts, goblins, and witches freak you out – the only scary thing about this ride is how sweaty you’ll be at the end!
Saturday, October 31: Nightmare on President Street
Join Wayne McFadden and Jason Williams for a scary ass boot camp that will haunt your dreams!! This class will incorporate boxing, circuit training, and core flex at the end. There may be candy involved.
