In honor of #InternationalWomensDay, we’d love to highlight a few local female entrepreneurs and the businesses they run here in Baltimore!
1. Esther Collinetti, co-owner of REV Cycle Studio
Esther is a powerful force to be reckoned with, and has an uncanny ability of motivating others to pursue their best lives, thru her humbling spin classes and eye-opening goal-coaching workshops. We’ve enjoyed watching her grow REV’s brand, and cannot wait to see where her goal-coaching program takes her in the years to come!
This #GirlBoss runs not one but two businesses, Nutreatious, a personal chef/catering company which spawned Gundalow Juice, the delicious and adorably packaged bottles of goodness that get us through the longest of days.
3. LA Finfinger, founder of Free Baltimore Yoga
That’s right, 100% FREE yoga, with zero strings attached. This talented yogi and beautiful soul is dedicated to sharing her craft and making it as accessible as possible to the entire Baltimore community.
4. Jessie Benson, founder of FloYo
This world-traveler has found a way to combine her love of travel with her passion for fitness by developing FloYo, full body workouts done on a stand up paddle board. Be sure to follow her on Instagram to see where her travels & trainings take her!
5. Lisa Quigley, founder of Real Flexi
A localized (and more affordable!) version of Class Pass, Lisa, a resident of Harford County, created Real Flexi after retiring from running and falling in love with group fitness. We’re excited to team up with her for some Free to Breathe fundraising opportunities this summer!
6. Natalie Sams, owner of The Loft
Having worked at several well-known salons in Baltimore, including the Four Seasons Spa in Harbor East, Natalie Sams recently opened the loft, a boutique private treatment space in Hampden, specializing in lashes, skincare, and brow design. If you haven’t visited Natalie yet, we absolutely recommend doing so for the ultimate relaxation + self-pampering experience!
That’s right, 3 businesses – not to mention Ali owns and operates the Baltimore Fells Point Surf Co. locations as well as the Bethany & Dewey shops as well! Every day is completely different for this small business owner, from traveling to trade shows to hitting the beach/slopes to get inspired, and of course bringing the most creative and fun fitness classes to Baltimore!
Event planner extraordinaires, Jessica & Rachel conceptualize and seamlessly deliver unique experiences for a variety of occasions – weddings, conferences, trade shows, you name it! We cannot WAIT to see what they’ve got up their sleeves for Light City Baltimore.
9. Rachel Cook, Director of Brand Development at Sagamore Spirit
We can’t say much just yet, but Rachel is redefining what whiskey means here in Baltimore, and we’re ready to drink it all in!
10. Lindsay Lusignea, creator of red lila yoga
Fresh off a strategic planning retreat in Costa Rica, this trained psychologist created red lila yoga as the result of her vision to support authentic self-expression through yoga, mindfulness, and a powerful, rooted play. If you haven’t flowed with Lindsay yet, we highly recommend it – Annie is even beginning her yoga teacher training journey with the next red lila yoga program starting later this month!
THANK YOU to these creative, generous, and powerful women for all they do to inspire us not just on #InternationalWomensDay, but each and every day!
