January 1: REV Cycle’s 1-Year Anniversary Party!
Jan. 1st marks REV’s 1 year anniversary! REV, on Jan. 1st will be hosting 3 classes with live DJ and mimosas post each class. Feel free to show up on the day of the celebration to grab an empty spot and toast with the REV Community! Check out the classes for that day:

Rinse. Cleanse. Refresh. Start your new year off powerfully with Lindsay Lusignea’s 7th annual Detox Flow! A flow for purification of the mind, body and spirit.
January 3: Just Kick-it Asana
Visit Razz Yoga in Phoenix, MD for a special class with Jessie Benson!
January 3: Reflex Functional Fitness Grand Opening
Check out the new spot on Fort Avenue in Federal Hill and try out one of their demo classes at 9am, 11am, 1pm or 3pm. This new gym is being opened by popular Baltimore trainer, Reese Ashe!
January 3: Detox & Twist Workshop
Join Charm City Yoga’s Marissa to learn how to detox your body, mind and spirit through asana, self care and clean eating. There will be a short asana practice, self-massage tips, juicing and smoothie recipes and more.
January 4: Crossfit PCR Community Day
Check out the new Ellicott City Crossfit PCR gym the day before they open for a community day with free massages, healthy cooking demos, Nutrient Assessments, Body Fat Analysis and more.
January 8: Fun Run Downtown at McHenry Row with CCR!
Don’t let the cold winter months stop you from running. Join Charm City Run @ McHenry Row. Every Thursday at 6:15PM, starting from McHenry Row and routes go from 3-6 miles. All paces are welcomed!
January 9: Kids Club with Charm City PT
Healthy January isn’t just for the adults! Bring the kids to the Whole Foods cafe (Harbor East) for healthy snacks, fun crafts and a reading of “The Adventures of Frankie Fitness by Jason Williams, local children’s book author and personal trainer.
January 9: Straight Funk Friday at REV
Let’s face it- the first full week back to work after 2 weeks of celebrating the holidays is a shock to anyone’s system…so REV is bringing the funk to help you sweat out the stress!
January 10: Maryland Regional Beachbody Super Saturday
Join Maryland’s largest Beachbody event with hundreds of local Beachbody coaches. Enjoy a live workout with celebrity trainer Tania Baron from Hip Hop Abs, Insanity & T25!
January 10: Beginners Workshop with BambooMoves
This workshop is designed for those new to yoga or current practitioners hoping to refine, deepen, & expand their knowledge of yoga.

January 17/18: Soul Body Barre Training

January 23: Tiesto Dance Party at REV
Candice at REV is serving up a workout disguised as a rave-style dance part with this 45-minute ride set to EDM (electronic dance music) favorites by DJ Tiesto.
January 24: M. Power Foundations Workshop
Bring in the new year by taking your practice to the next level. Join M. Power for a workshop focused on strengthening your alignment in the foundational postures – it will be a great opportunity for you to focus on specific poses & ask questions!

New to spinning? Try REV’s beginners class for free! Join for their 45-minute session, designed to educate new riders on the best practices of indoor cycling.
January 24: Plungefest!
Join for the 19th Annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge where participants take a quick dip in the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland, the state’s largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
January 25: Inversions Workshop
Get introduced to and practice postures such as headstand, forearm stand, handstand and more with Sid Yoga!
January 30: East Coast vs. West Coast with Jami
East Coast, West Coast, Worldwide! Our own BMOREtoned Jami will push you to your limits in this 45-minute battle in the saddle, with a playlist inspired by the infamous hip hop rivalry: Tupac vs. Biggie. Which coast is best? Decide for yourself while sweating it out to the best songs from each side of the country.
January 31: Booklovers’ Breakfast with Misty Copeland
In 2007, Misty Copeland made history by becoming the third African American female soloist at American Ballet Theatre. In 2014, she made history and splashed all over our neighborhoods as the new face of Under Armour’s I Will What I Want campaign. Should be a great book meetup!
